Combined Safety Services

As the pre-requisite for Issue Work Permits (MSMPER300), this unit of competency covers the skills and knowledge required to conduct a hazard analysis.

This can be delivered as a stand-alone unit, or in conjunction with the Issue Work Permits (MSMPER300) Unit of Competency.


Course Objectives

This unit equips participants with the knowledge and skills to:

  • Define the context for hazard analysis
  • Safely identify hazards
  • Assess and control risks
  • Monitor and review risk controls.

 

Assessment

Participants will be assessed via a written assessment. Participants with literacy or numeracy skills should speak with our Trainer to discuss alternative assessment approaches. 
 

Qualification

Upon successful completion, each student will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment.

 

Frequency of Training

Public sessions will be held monthly at 37 Crescent Road Waratah NSW 2298. Private sessions are available for groups of 4 or more.

This Unit of Competency is included in our 3 Day Advanced Confined Space Training, and is delivered on the first day of this course. Upcoming Advanced Confined Space Training dates can be viewed in the Training Calendar on this website and enrolment forms can be downloaded by clicking on the course bubble.
